Day 7: A Character That You Feel The Need to Defend | Martha Jones
Martha Jones, she was an amazing companion from start to finish. She was smart, loyal, and strong. She stood by the Doctor’s side and saved his life more than just a few times. She spent a year on her own trying to save the world from the Master’s tyranny. As for her fancying the Doctor, I don’t believe that should be recognized as a flaw or even a reason to dislike her character. She left the TARDIS knowing that she needed to stay behind to not only watch over her family and help them cope with the year that never was, but to also protect the Earth from any future invasions as well. Martha Jones is brilliant, incredible, amazing, and a star.
